How credits work

Only generation spends credits. On paid plans, the order never changes: included monthly credits first, prepaid top-up credits second, optional overage last.
Included monthly credits go first
Free starts with 10 each month. Pro starts with 100. Max starts with 500. That included balance is always the first thing we spend.
Top-ups are prepaid extra room
On Pro and Max, you can buy one-time top-up credits when you want more room without forcing automatic spend. Top-up credits do not expire and spend before overage.
Overage is optional pay-as-you-go
If you leave overage on, it starts only after included and top-up credits are gone. It is the last layer, not the first one the product reaches for.
Only generation touches the meter
Generation spends credits. Editing, captioning, assembling, scheduling, publishing, and connecting accounts do not.
Every generation run shows its estimated credit cost before you confirm it. The point of the page is the model: package price up front, generation metered, editing and publishing outside the meter.

- What's the difference between Free and a paid plan?
- Free is the real product, metered to 10 credits a month: generate posts, edit them in the browser, connect your accounts, and publish — no card required. Paid plans (Pro and Max) add the brand kit, so your voice and look hold across every output; turn on analytics; and give you the monthly volume to publish consistently. Short-form video and reels are coming soon.
- What actually counts as a credit?
- Only generation. Before you generate, we show the estimated credit cost for that run. Editing your project, assembling the cut, scheduling, and publishing never cost credits.
- Do I need a separate editor or scheduler?
- No. Generation, the in-browser editor, scheduling, and publishing are all part of Vyom — one plan, one bill. Editing and scheduling never spend credits.
- Can I spend my credits on anything?
- Yes. Your credits are one balance with no per-type quotas — go all-in on carousels one month, single-image posts the next, or mix freely. We don't fence your allowance into separate buckets.
- What happens when I use up my credits?
- On Free, your 10 credits reset on your signup date each month. On Pro and Max, included credits run out first, then any top-up credits you bought are used next, and only after that does metered overage start if it is still enabled and under your cap.
- What is the difference between a top-up and metered overage?
- A top-up is a one-time prepaid credit purchase on Pro or Max. Those credits spend before metered overage and do not expire. Metered overage is pay-as-you-go usage after included and top-up credits are gone.
- Is there an annual option?
- Yes. Pro annual is 15% off at $204/yr ($17/mo equivalent). Max annual is 15% off at $1020/yr ($85/mo equivalent). The monthly credit allowance stays the same either way. Free stays free.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, anytime. A paid plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for — the month, or the year if you chose annual — then drops back to the Free plan.
